Norah Hunsharj began her artistic journey at a young age, showing persistent signs of creativity and introspection.

 

After finishing high school in San Luis, Argentina, at the age of 17 she traveled to Buenos Aires to study Audiovisual Arts.

 

There she began her academic career. While in her final years of Audiovisual Arts, she decided to pursue a degree in Visual Arts with a focus on painting and sculpture at the UNA (National University of Arts). Both programs greatly enriched her theoretical and practical knowledge, as the professors were truly renowned artists.

 

Before finishing her studies, she began attending film sets simply to "cebar mate," offering a typical Argentine beverage to the technicians and creatives. This is how she began making her first contacts in the industry. She held various roles but ultimately focused specifically on the role of Art Director.

 

It grew year after year to the point of working with the most important directors, artists and producers internationally and nationally as well, but Norah always continued painting and exhibiting in parallel.

After achieving some recognition as an Art Director, she decided to focus more on her career as a visual artist, exclusively through imagery. For this reason, she has been living in New York for the past two years to develop her vision as a visual artist. During this time, she has made important contacts and analyzed the landscape for her gradual growth.

 

In addition to conceptual development, her interest lies in creating a truly social impact through her work, engaging with important topics such as children, the slow but progressive dehumanization of humanity, the transition from humans to robotics, robotic implants and humanity. These are the topics she is currently working on, and she finds New York City perfect for this development.

 

Future plans: To hold exhibitions in cities such as Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, and New York, and in a couple of years, to take her work to Europe.

 

Meanwhile, she is very focused on developing all of this, and although it is not easy, what distinguishes Norah is her persevering and passionate spirit.
